What are Career Clusters?

Career planning involves career awareness activities taking place in elementary, middle and high school that prepare students to choose a general area of interest in which to concentrate their studies. These areas of interest are called career clusters.

These are the career clusters of the Artesian-Letcher School District. Click on each one to see a student planning guide that gives more in-depth information including detailed descriptions, typical college majors, and related career opportunities.

Selecting a career cluster gives students an opportunity to research and experience careers in a specified field. Linking business and education contributes to student learning. Students will focus on the following:

9th and 10th Grade
11th and 12th Grade
