Homecoming Week (September 6 - 11) Candy Grams will be sold during Homecoming week for $1.00 each. Monday, September 6 (No School) - The Student Council will be sponsoring a pork feed from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Coronation will begin at 7:00 p.m. Activities will also include a volleyball game between the Varsity girls volleyball team and the Varsity boys football team, and fun and games with the royalty candidates and their parents. Congratulations to the Homecoming Royalty candidates: Jasmine Parce, Troy Grassel, Allison Schmit, Jordan Pearson, Jessica Selland, Chase Weeden, Karli Voorhees and Trevor Wormstadt. Tuesday, September 7 - Generation Day - Seniors, Juniors, and Elementary (PreK-5) classes will dress like senior citizens. Sophomores, Freshmen, and Middle School classes, as well as staff, will dress like babies. The girls will be hosting home volleyball games against Woonsocket that night. Wednesday, September 8 - Fake Injury Day - Who has the best fake injury? Thursday, September 9 - Make An Outfit Out of Duct Tape and Garbage Day - Who can be the most fashionable wearing garbage and tape?! The girls have home volleyball games with Plankinton. Friday, September 10 - Blue and Orange Day. School will dismiss early at 12:30 p.m. The Rebels will be taking on Highmore-Harrold for their Homecoming football game (Game time will be 1/2 hour later than usual, starting at 7:30 p.m.) Saturday, September 11 - Homecoming Dance - 9:00 - 12:30 p.m. in the Commons for students in Grades 9-12. *** If you are signed up to get the Rebel e-News and haven't been getting it lately, please check the spam/junk email filter for your email program as they are probably getting stuck in there.
