Construction began on Dimock Park in 1992 after the old school was torn
down. The park was built by community volunteers who donated money
& labor.
In 1993,
the first Dimock Park Fun Days was held. It has been an annual event
ever since.
The park
includes: baseball diamond, basketball & volleyball courts, horseshoe
pits, play ground equipment, and picnic shelters. It has become a
popular place for family & school reunions.
