Our son Michael Coil is currently serving in Iraq with the 244th Infantry unit of the Army National Guard from Machesney Park, IL. He has been stationed in Baghdad, Iraq since the middle of December. Mike is having a birthday on July 4th. I thought it would be great to send him a community care package for his birthday, including cards or message of supports. I will be sending a package and if you would like to contribute that would be wonderful. Some things that he likes to receive from back home are:
Toothpaste (he likes Crest Cinnamon Blast)
Dramamine, Sunscreen, Advil, Magazines
Jack Links jerky (prefers teriyaki)
Gum, lifesavers, starburst, Crystal light to go
Mike is married to Kari and they have two children, Larissa and Jordon (pictured below). They live in Caledonia IL. Mike is an avid Chicago Bears fan. He loves football and was fortunate to get to play semi-pro for a Rockford team 3 years ago. Mike and Kari have a landscaping business. He coaches football and basketball for his children's teams and is very family oriented.
I know that Mike would very much appreciate getting cards and notes from people back here. If you want to include anything, please bring it to Dakotaland Federal Credit Union located in Darin's Market in Woonsocket. I would like to send the package by June 21 so bring anything by June 20.
Thank you for helping to give Mike a good birthday considering where he is stationed. I know that the show of support will cheer him up a lot.
