Short and Long-term Residential Care
     Prairie View Care Center is a nursing home committed to providing compassionate, professional care which enhances the quality of life for our residents.  We provide short and long-term, skilled nursing care in an atmosphere of respect and concern for each individual resident.  The Nursing Home was opened in 1970 and is operated by the Sanborn County Development Corporation.  Our facility serves 42 men and women who require individualized care and skilled nursing services.  Single and double-bed rooms are available, some with a private bathroom.  We also offer a Special Care Unit, a private unit which allows for quiet surroundings for residents with Alzheimer's Disease or Dementia.  We accept  private-pay, Medicaid, and Medicare.
